Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager

Qualifications

BE (Bac+5) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 3 years experience in selling generator sets or similar products

Responsibilities and Duties

Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients

Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made

Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity

Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned

Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships

Persuade clients to choose products or services

Assist in preparing estimates for clients

Negotiate contract terms

Provide technical assistance and product education

Conduct follow-up proposals and sales contracts

Achieve regular sales targets

Identify and resolve client concerns

Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals

Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff

Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock

Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and other

Follow-up for collection of payment (for Sales)

Help in designing custom-made products

Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge

Ability To:

Effectively prioritize and use limited resources

Develop and deliver presentations

Have analytical and problem-solving skills

Organize and Prioritize tasks

Knowledge Of:

Negotiation techniques

Electrical & Mechanical equipment & accessories

Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint

English, French & Arabic
